# PngWriter Constructor (String, Boolean)
 
Initializes a new instance of the [PngWriter](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_PngWriter.htm.md) class for the given file name specifying whether the image should be interlaced.

### Parameters
 
 - fileName
     - Type: System.String
The name of the file to create this writer on.

 - isInterlaced
     - Type: System.Boolean
 `true` the image is interlaced; otherwise, `false`. You can change it later through the [IsInterlaced](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_PngWriter_IsInterlaced.htm.md) property.
