# ImageReader.Create Method (String)
 
Creates an appropriate image reader on the specified file.

### Parameters
 
 - fileName
     - Type: System.String
The name of the file to read from.
 
### Return Value
The appropriate descendant of the [ImageReader](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_ImageReader.htm.md) class.
 
## Examples

using (var reader = ImageReader.Create(@"Images\in.jpg"))
using (var rotate = new Rotate(90))
