# ColorPalette.Create Method (Bitmap, Int32, ColorQuantizationAlgorithm)

**Applies to:** Graphics Mill 12.1, 6.x-12.x (may differ)
 
Returns a new [ColorPalette](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_ColorPalette.htm.md) with a given size containing colors generated from a given bitmap using the specified quantiztion algorithm.

 - bitmap
     - Type: [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Bitmap](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Bitmap.htm.md)
A [Bitmap](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Bitmap.htm.md) to create this palette from.

 - entryCount
     - Type: System.Int32
The number of colors in the palette.

 - quantizationAlgorithm
     - Type: [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Transforms.ColorQuantizationAlgorithm](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_ColorQuantizationAlgorithm.htm.md)
A color quantiztion algorithm used to reduce colors.
