# CompressedImage.CreateFromPipeline Method (Pipeline, CompressionType)
 
Creates a [CompressedImage](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_CompressedImage.htm.md) from an image source, explicitly choosing the compression type.
