# CustomFontRegistry.RemoveFontAlias Method 
 
Removes a previously-added user alias from an already-registered font.

## Syntax

public bool RemoveFontAlias(string postscriptName,string alias
)
```
 
### Parameters
 
 - postscriptName
     - Type: System.String
The postscript name of an already-registered font.

 - alias
     - Type: System.String
The alias to remove.
 
### Return Value
 `true` if the alias was found and removed; `false` if postscriptName does not resolve to any registered font, or alias is not currently one of its user aliases.
