# FontRegistry.TryGetPostscriptName Method 
 
Looks up the postscript name of the font registered under the given family and style, without throwing if none is found.

public bool TryGetPostscriptName(string family,string style,out string postscriptName
)
```
 
### Parameters
 
 - family
     - Type: System.String
Font family name.

 - style
     - Type: System.String
Font style.

 - postscriptName
     - Type: System.String%
When this method returns, contains the postscript name of the matching font, or an empty string if no match was found.
 
### Return Value
 `true` if a font is found in the [FontRegistry](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Drawing_FontRegistry.htm.md) with the given family and style; otherwise, `false`.
