# SoftMask.Implicit Operator
 
Converts the specified [GraphicsContainer](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Drawing_GraphicsContainer.htm.md) to a [SoftMask](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Drawing_SoftMask.htm.md) with the [Luminosity](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Drawing_SoftMaskMethod.htm.md) method and no backdrop.

The [GraphicsContainer](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Drawing_GraphicsContainer.htm.md) whose content defines the opacity mask.
 
### Return Value
A new [SoftMask](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Drawing_SoftMask.htm.md), or `null` if mask is `null`.
