### Return Value
 `true` if the specified pixel format is supported; otherwise, `false`.
 
## Remarks
  
If you try to process an image which has an unsupported pixel format, the [UnsupportedPixelFormatException](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_UnsupportedPixelFormatException.htm.md) is thrown.
 
To get the list of all pixel formats supported by this pipeline element, use the [SupportedPixelFormats](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_PipelineElement_SupportedPixelFormats.htm.md) property.
