# ContiguousBackgroundRemoval.Tolerance Property 
 
Gets or sets the largest color difference between a background pixel and the background color.

## Syntax
  
```csharp
public float Tolerance { get; set; }
```
 
### Property Value
The difference as delta E, in range `[0, 200]`. The default value is `35`.
 
## Remarks
 Pixels with a larger difference belong to the subject. A difference of about 2 is the smallest one the eye notices.
 
## Exceptions
