# IXmpDictionary Interface
 
Represents a nongeneric collection of key/value pairs.

## Remarks
  
This abstract class is used to retrieve XMP metadata stored in images. Such metadata is stored in the XML format (more specifically, RDF) as pairs of keys and values belonging to different namespaces. To get a collection of all namespaces, use the [Namespaces](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_IXmpDictionary_Namespaces.htm.md) property. To get a collection of keys contained in a specific namespace, use the [FindKeysByNamespace(XmpNamespace)](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_IXmpDictionary_FindKeysByNamespace_1_24e9c9cd.htm.md) method.
