# Cylindrize Class

Applies a cylindrize transformation on an image.

**Namespace:** [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Transforms](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/N_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms.htm.md)
 **Assembly:** Aurigma.GraphicsMill (in Aurigma.GraphicsMill.dll)

## Syntax

```csharp
public sealed class Cylindrize : IBitmapTransform, IDisposable
```

## Remarks

This transformation is useful if you need to emulate the image to be bended on the cylinder surface, for example, mug. In this case the following sequence is used:

1. Use [Resize](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Resize.htm.md) to fit the bitmap to cylinder parameters.
2. Use Cylindrize to distort the bitmap.
3. Combine distorted bitmap and mug image using [Combiner](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Combiner.htm.md) class or [Draw(Bitmap, Rectangle, CombineMode, Single, ResizeInterpolationMode)](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Bitmap_Draw_5_b6cdf0bf.htm.md) method.

You can specify a number of cylinder parameters: height ([CylinderHeight](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_CylinderHeight.htm.md) property), half-perimeter ([CylinderHalfPerimeter](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_CylinderHalfPerimeter.htm.md) property), color ([CupColor](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_CupColor.htm.md) property). You can also specify position of the image relatively top left corner of the "face" part of cylinder ([HorizontalOffset](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_HorizontalOffset.htm.md) and [VerticalOffset](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_VerticalOffset.htm.md) properties). If the cylinder (e.g. mug) is tilted, you can take it into account with [SlopeAngle](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_SlopeAngle.htm.md) property. And of course like for any other geometry bitmap transform, you can specify interpolation algorithm ([InterpolationMode](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_InterpolationMode.htm.md) property) and background color ([BackgroundColor](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_BackgroundColor.htm.md) property).
