# Jpeg2kWriter Constructor (String)
 
Creates and initializes new [Jpeg2kWriter](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_Jpeg2kWriter.htm.md) class instance. It also opens this writer on specified file.
