# Rational Constructor (Int32, Int32)
 
Creates new [Rational](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Rational.htm.md) instance with specified dividend and divider.

## Syntax

Public Sub New ( _dividend As Integer, _divider As Integer _
)

public Rational(int dividend,int divider
)

### Parameters
 
 - dividend
     - Type: [System.Int32](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/td2s409d)
Value that specifies dividend of the rational number (i.e. if represent rational number as *p/q*, dividend is *p*). You can change it later using [Dividend](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Rational_Dividend.htm.md) property.

 - divider
     - Type: [System.Int32](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/td2s409d)
Value that specifies divider of the rational number (i.e. if represent rational number as *p/q*, divider is *q*). You can change it later using [Divider](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Rational_Divider.htm.md) property.
