# BrightnessContrast Constructor (Single, Single)
 
Creates new [BrightnessContrast](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_BrightnessContrast.htm.md) class instance. Here you can specify brigthness and contrast modifiers.

public BrightnessContrast(float brightnessAmount,float contrastAmount

### Parameters
 
 - brightnessAmount
     - Type: [System.Single](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/3www918f)
Brightness modifier value varying in range [-1, 1]. You can change this value later through property [BrightnessAmount](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_BrightnessContrast_BrightnessAmount.htm.md).

 - contrastAmount
     - Type: [System.Single](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/3www918f)
Contrast modifier value varying in range [-1, 1]. Minimum value (-1) will produce absolutely gray image, neutral value (0) does no effect, maximum value (1) makes the image extremely posterized. You can change this value later through property [ContrastAmount](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_BrightnessContrast_ContrastAmount.htm.md).
