# UnsharpMask Constructor (Single, Single, Single, BlurType)

Creates and initializes new [UnsharpMask](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_UnsharpMask.htm.md) class instance. You can set all parameters of the unsharp mask transform here.

**Namespace:** [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Transforms](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/N_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms.htm.md)
 **Assembly:** Aurigma.GraphicsMill (in Aurigma.GraphicsMill.dll)

## Syntax

```
Public Sub New ( _amount As Single, _radius As Single, _threshold As Single, _blurType As BlurType _
)
```

```csharp
public UnsharpMask(float amount,float radius,float threshold,BlurType blurType
)
```

### Parameters

 - amount
     - Type: [System.Single](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/3www918f)
Value that specifies unsharp mask amount. Amount\*100 means the percentage of the difference between blurred and original image. Min value is 0. You can change it later using [Amount](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_UnsharpMask_Amount.htm.md) property.

 - radius
     - Type: [System.Single](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/3www918f)
Value that specifies blur radius used to produce unfocused version of the image. You can change it later using [Radius](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_UnsharpMask_Radius.htm.md) property.

 - threshold
     - Type: [System.Single](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/3www918f)
Value in range [0, 1] specifying threshold value for the unsharp mask. Minimum value (0) means that all pixels are affected with unsharp mask, maximum value means that no pixels are affected. To calculate threshold in pixel luminosity levels, multiply it on 255 for non-extended (8 bit per channel) images, or 65535 for extended (16 bit per channel) images. You can change it later using [Threshold](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_UnsharpMask_Threshold.htm.md) property.

 - blurType
     - Type: [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Transforms.BlurType](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_BlurType.htm.md)
 [BlurType](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_BlurType.htm.md) value specifying a blur type used to produce unfocused version of the image. You can change it later using [BlurType](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_UnsharpMask_BlurType.htm.md) property.
