# BaseViewer.statusChanged Event

Fires when status (see [status](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_J_GraphicsMill_BaseViewer_status.htm.md) property) is updated.

**Namespace:** [GraphicsMill](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/N_J_GraphicsMill.htm.md)
 **Assembly:** Aurigma.GraphicsMill.AjaxControls (in Aurigma.GraphicsMill.AjaxControls.dll)

## Syntax

```
function add_statusChanged(value);
function remove_statusChanged(value);
```

## Remarks

Using this method you can determine when the remote scripting method was stopped. To do it, this event handler should analyze the value returned with the [status](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_J_GraphicsMill_BaseViewer_status.htm.md) property. If it is [ready](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_J_GraphicsMill_UpdateStatus.htm.md), the remote method has been completed. If it is [busy](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_J_GraphicsMill_UpdateStatus.htm.md), the remote method has been started. If it is [refresh](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_J_GraphicsMill_UpdateStatus.htm.md), the bitmap is not modified, but the control is downloading a portion of the image (e.g. when user zoomed or scrolled content).
