# BaseViewer.GetCallbackResult Method 
 
Returns the result of a callback event that targets a control.

### Return Value
The result of the callback.
 
## Remarks
 The [BaseViewer](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_BaseViewer.htm.md) control implements the [ICallbackEventHandler](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/y8ba03d8) interface and uses the [RaiseCallbackEvent(String)](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_BaseViewer_RaiseCallbackEvent_1_bb3a7a4f.htm.md) to retrieve data and the GetCallbackResult() method to return the retrieved data to the control.
