# CanvasViewer.GetCallbackResult Method 
 
Returns the result of a callback event that targets a control.

The [String](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/s1wwdcbf) value which represents a result of the callback.
 
## Remarks
  
The [CanvasViewer](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_CanvasViewer.htm.md) control uses the [RaiseCallbackEvent(String)](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_CanvasViewer_RaiseCallbackEvent_1_bb3a7a4f.htm.md) method to retrieve data and the GetCallbackResult() method to return the retrieved data to the control.
