# PointF.Translate Method 
 
Translates a point to the specified offset.

The offset in the x-direction.

 - y
     - Type: [System.Single](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/3www918f)
The offset in the y-direction.
 
### Return Value
 
The [PointF](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_VectorObjects_Math_PointF.htm.md) value which represents a translated point.
