# Bitmap.ToGdiplusBitmap Method 
 
Returns [System.Drawing.Bitmap](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/4e7y164x) containing a copy of the image stored in current [Bitmap](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Bitmap.htm.md) class instance.

### Return Value
 [System.Drawing.Bitmap](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/4e7y164x) containing a copy of the image stored in current [Bitmap](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Bitmap.htm.md) class instance.
 
## Remarks
 This method returns a copy of the image. If you need to have a [System.Drawing.Bitmap](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/4e7y164x) which references to the same bitmap data as the current [Bitmap](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Bitmap.htm.md), you should use [ToGdiplusBitmapDirectly()](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Bitmap_ToGdiplusBitmapDirectly.htm.md) method instead.
