**Namespace:** [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Codecs](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/N_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs.htm.md)
 **Assembly:** Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Codecs.AviProcessor (in Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Codecs.AviProcessor.dll)

Public Function FrameIndexToTime ( _frameIndex As Integer _
) As Integer
```
```

### Parameters

 - frameIndex
     - Type: [System.Int32](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/td2s409d)
An integer value which specifies the index of the frame you need to get the timing for.

### Return Value
An integer value which contains time from the beginning of the movie to the frame with specified index. As all other time units in Graphics Mill, this value is measured in 1/100 of seconds.

### Implements

[ITimeWriter.FrameIndexToTime(Int32)](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_ITimeWriter_FrameIndexToTime_1_e1836fc4.htm.md)

## Remarks

This value is calculated on the basis of [FramesPerSecond](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviWriter_FramesPerSecond.htm.md) property.

If you need to make invert calculation - from timing to frame index, use the [TimeToFrameIndex(Int32)](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviWriter_TimeToFrameIndex_1_e1836fc4.htm.md) method.
