# LosslessJpegTransform.Open Method (Stream)
 
Opens the JPEG transform object on the specified stream.

### Parameters
 
 - stream
     - Type: [System.IO.Stream](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/8f86tw9e)
The stream which contains the JPEG file to open transform on.
 
## Remarks
 When you finished working with this file, you should call [Close()](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_LosslessJpegTransform_Close.htm.md) method.
