# MetadataDictionary.GetKeyDescription Method 
 
Returns textual description for the specified key.

### Parameters
 
 - key
     - Type: [System.Object](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/e5kfa45b)
The key to get textual description for. Must be one of predefined keys (see static fields of [ExifDictionary](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_ExifDictionary.htm.md) and [IptcDictionary](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_IptcDictionary.htm.md)).

Value that contains textual description of the key.
