# IPixelFormatSupport.IsPixelFormatSupported Method 
 
Returns whether the object can handle bitmaps with specified pixel format.

 - format
     - Type: [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.PixelFormat](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_PixelFormat.htm.md)
 [PixelFormat](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_PixelFormat.htm.md) value that specifies a pixel format necessary to be checked.
 
### Return Value
Value that equal to **true** when specified pixel format is supported, or **false** otherwise.
