# StreamWrapper.Write Method

Writes a specified number of bytes into the stream object starting at the current seek pointer.

**Namespace:** [Aurigma.GraphicsMill](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/N_Aurigma_GraphicsMill.htm.md)
 **Assembly:** Aurigma.GraphicsMill (in Aurigma.GraphicsMill.dll)

## Syntax

```
Public Overridable Sub Write ( _pv As Byte(), _cb As Integer, _pcbWritten As IntPtr _
)
```

```csharp
public virtual void Write(byte[] pv,int cb,IntPtr pcbWritten
)
```

### Parameters

 - pv
     - Type:  [System.Byte](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/yyb1w04y) []
Buffer to write this stream to.

 - cb
     - Type: [System.Int32](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/td2s409d)
The number of bytes to write into the stream.

 - pcbWritten
     - Type: [System.IntPtr](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/5he14kz8)
On successful return, contains the actual number of bytes written to the stream object. The caller can set this pointer to a null reference (**Nothing** in Visual Basic), in which case this method does not provide the actual number of bytes written.

### Implements

[IStream.Write(Byte\[\], Int32, IntPtr)](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/yfhh7yxe)

## Remarks
