# TransformsProvider.ApplyMatrixTransform Method (Matrix, Color, InterpolationMode)
 
Applies a linear transformation of the bitmap (based on specified matrix).

 - transform
     - Type: [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Transforms.Matrix](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Matrix.htm.md)
 [Matrix](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Matrix.htm.md) class instance which specifies a matrix of the linear transformation.

 - backgroundColor
     - Type: [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Color](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Color.htm.md)
Value which specifies the background color for the transformed image.

 - interpolationMode
     - Type: [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Transforms.InterpolationMode](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_InterpolationMode.htm.md)
 [InterpolationMode](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_InterpolationMode.htm.md) value which specifies interpolation algorithm used during transformation.
