# TransformsProvider.Blur Method (Single)
 
Applies blur filter on the bitmap.

### Parameters
 
 - radius
     - Type: [System.Single](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/3www918f)
A positive value which specifies blur radius.
 
## Remarks
 You can also use [Blur](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Blur.htm.md) class to apply this effect.
