# TransformsProvider.Glow Method (Color)

Applies glow effect.

**Namespace:** [Aurigma.GraphicsMill](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/N_Aurigma_GraphicsMill.htm.md)
 **Assembly:** Aurigma.GraphicsMill (in Aurigma.GraphicsMill.dll)

## Syntax

```
Public Sub Glow ( _glowColor As Color _
)
```

```csharp
public void Glow(Color glowColor
)
```

### Parameters

 - glowColor
     - Type: [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Color](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Color.htm.md)
Glow color.

## Remarks

You can also use [Glow](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Glow.htm.md) class to apply this effect.

**Note**
If the bitmap does not have an alpha channel (e.g. its pixel format is [Format24bppRgb](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_PixelFormat.htm.md)), alpha channel is automatically added. So be aware that pixel format of the output bitmap may differ from the input one.

## Examples

```
bitmap.Transforms.Glow(Aurigma.GraphicsMill.RgbColor.Red)
```

```csharp
bitmap.Transforms.Glow(Aurigma.GraphicsMill.RgbColor.Red);
```
