# ControllerConverter.GetStandardValues Method (ITypeDescriptorContext)
 
Returns a collection of standard values for the data type this type converter is designed for. This member supports the .NET Framework infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code.

     - Type: [System.ComponentModel.ITypeDescriptorContext](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/8d4c9xy5)
An [ITypeDescriptorContext](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/8d4c9xy5) that provides a format context that can be used to extract additional information about the environment from which this converter is invoked. This parameter or properties of this parameter can be a null reference.
 
### Return Value
A [TypeConverter.StandardValuesCollection](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/z9h336cb) that holds a standard set of valid values, or a null reference if the data type does not support a standard set of values.
