# BitmapViewer.GetCanvasBounds Method 
 
Returns a rectangle of the bitmap viewer client area (without scroll bars).

### Return Value
A rectangle representing the bitmap viewer client area.
 
## Remarks
  
Left-top corner coordinates are measured relatively to the parent form using its coordinate system. Width and height do not include scroll bars and a border.
 
To get a rectangle occupied by the bitmap inside the control, use the [GetViewportBounds()](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_BitmapViewer_GetViewportBounds.htm.md) method.
