# IImageList.RemoveByKey Method 
 
Removes an image with the specified key from the list.

void RemoveByKey(Object key

### Parameters
 
 - key
     - Type: [System.Object](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/e5kfa45b)
The key of the image to remove.
 
## Remarks
  
If the list does not contain an image with the specified key, the list remains unchanged. No exception is thrown.
