# IListItem.GetIconKey Method 
 
Returns a key of the item icon for the specified [View](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_VirtualListView_View.htm.md) of the [ThumbnailListView](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ThumbnailListView.htm.md) control.

 [View](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_View.htm.md) enumeration member identifying the view mode to extract an icon index for.
 
### Return Value
An key of the item icon in one of the control image lists. The image list depends on the specified view parameter. If the item has no icon for specified view, **null** is returned.
