# QueueManager.StartQueues Method

Starts execution of all queues of the manager.

**Namespace:** [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.WinControls](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/N_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls.htm.md)
 **Assembly:** Aurigma.GraphicsMill.WinControls (in Aurigma.GraphicsMill.WinControls.dll)

## Syntax

```
Public Sub StartQueues
```

```csharp
public void StartQueues()
```

## Remarks

When the queue is started, the queue manager takes items from a queue one by one, checks its state [GetMethodState(Int32)](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_IQueueItem_GetMethodState_1_e1836fc4.htm.md) and if it is [NotStarted](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_QueueItemMethodState.htm.md), runs the [EvaluateMethod(Int32)](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_IQueueItem_EvaluateMethod_1_e1836fc4.htm.md) method.

It is safe to call this method when the queue already started. So it is recommended to call this method each time you move an item to the head of the queue or update an item.
