# LayerCollection.move Method 
 
Moves a layer from one position to another.

## Syntax

function move(oldIndex, newIndex);
```
 
### Parameters
 
 - oldIndex
     - Type: Global.Number
The zero-based index of the layer to move.

 - newIndex
     - Type: Global.Number
The zero-based index to move the layer to.
