# PointF.scale Method 
 
Scales a point to the specified values.

## Syntax
  
```
function scale(scaleX, scaleY);
```
 
### Parameters
 
 - scaleX
     - Type: Global.Number
The scale factor in the x-direction.

 - scaleY
     - Type: Global.Number
The scale factor in the y-direction.
 
### Return Value
The [PointF](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_J_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_VectorObjects_Math_PointF.htm.md) value which represents a scaled point.
