# Rectangle.contains Method 
 
Determines if the specified point is contained within the rectangular region defined by this [Rectangle](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_J_GraphicsMill_Rectangle.htm.md).

### Return Value
This method returns **true** if the point represented by pt is contained within this [Rectangle](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_J_GraphicsMill_Rectangle.htm.md) structure; otherwise **false**.
