# BaseViewer.RulerWidth Property 
 
Gets or sets the ruler width.

public int RulerWidth { get; set; }

### Property Value
 
The [Int32](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/td2s409d) value specifying the ruler width in pixels.
 
Default value is **13**.
 
## Remarks
  
To show the ruler set the [RulerEnabled](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_BaseViewer_RulerEnabled.htm.md) property to **true**.
