# BaseViewer.Zoom Property 
 
Gets/sets the current zoom value.

## Syntax

### Property Value
The number that specifies the current zoom value.
 
## Remarks
  
Zoom values are measured in percents/100. It means that value = 1 specifies 100% zoom (i.e. actual size), value = 10 means 1000% zoom (10x), value = 0.5 means 50% zoom (half), etc.
 
**Note** 
If automatic zoom mode is used (i.e. [ZoomMode](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_BaseViewer_ZoomMode.htm.md) property is not [None](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_ZoomMode.htm.md)) the value of this property will be ignored.
 
Default value is 1.
