# BitmapViewer.BitmapStateEnabled Property 
 
Gets/sets a value which specifies whether the bitmap specified in the [Bitmap](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_BitmapViewer_Bitmap.htm.md) property should be stored between server roundtrips.

## Syntax

### Property Value
If **true**, the control tracks the bitmap specified in the [Bitmap](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_BitmapViewer_Bitmap.htm.md) property and restores its state when the page reloads. If **false**, the bitmap state is lost as soon as the page is unloaded. In this case when the page will be reloaded, the [Bitmap](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_BitmapViewer_Bitmap.htm.md) property will contain no bitmap.
