# AviCompressor.SupportsQuality Property 
 
Gets a value which determines whether the compressor supports the quality parameter.

### Property Value
A [Boolean](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/a28wyd50) value which specifies whether the compressor supports the quality parameter. If **false**, the [Quality](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviWriter_Quality.htm.md) property of the [AviWriter](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviWriter.htm.md) is disregarded when creating the AVI file.
