# AviWatermark.TimerFormatProvider Property 
 
Gets/sets the object which will format the timer watermark when it displays the timestamp.

### Property Value
An object implementing [IFormatProvider](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/efh2ww9y) interface which provides the formatting functionality. Typically it is an instance of the [DateTimeFormatInfo](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/c6dw49cz) class returned from the [CultureInfo](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/kx54z3k7) object.
 
## Remarks
  
It is useful to specify the formatter object when you want to make the timestamp culture-dependant. It is recommended to read MSDN (.NET Framework Class Library) about the [DateTimeFormatInfo](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/c6dw49cz) class for more details on this.
 
As usual this property is used in conjunction with the [TimerFormat](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviWatermark_TimerFormat.htm.md) property.
 
**Note** 
This property makes sense only if the timer watermark is enabled (i.e. the [TimerVisible](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviWatermark_TimerVisible.htm.md) property is set to **true**) and [TimerStyle](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviWatermark_TimerStyle.htm.md) is [CurrentDateTime](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviTimerStyle.htm.md).
