# AviWatermark.TimerStyle Property

Gets/sets the style of the timer watermark.

**Namespace:** [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Codecs](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/N_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs.htm.md)
 **Assembly:** Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Codecs.AviProcessor (in Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Codecs.AviProcessor.dll)

## Syntax

```
Public Property TimerStyle As AviTimerStyle
```

```csharp
public AviTimerStyle TimerStyle { get; set; }
```

### Property Value
 [AviTimerStyle](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviTimerStyle.htm.md) value which specifies what kind of the timer watermark should be displayed.

## Remarks

You can specify the appearance settings of the timer watermark using the [TimerFont](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviWatermark_TimerFont.htm.md) (font settings) and [TimerBrush](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviWatermark_TimerBrush.htm.md) (color) properties.

If the [CurrentDateTime](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviTimerStyle.htm.md) value is used as a timer style, you can adjust the formatting of the date/time displayed as a watermark using the [TimerFormatProvider](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviWatermark_TimerFormatProvider.htm.md) and [TimerFormat](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviWatermark_TimerFormat.htm.md) properties. [VideoTime](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviTimerStyle.htm.md) is always displayed as **hh:mm:ss**. [VideoTimeAndFrame](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviTimerStyle.htm.md) is always displayed as **hh:mm:ss.index**.

To display additional text before and after the timer watermark, use the [TimerPrefix](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviWatermark_TimerPrefix.htm.md) and [TimerSuffix](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviWatermark_TimerSuffix.htm.md) properties respectively.

**Note**
This property makes sense only if the timer watermark is enabled (i.e. the [TimerVisible](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Codecs_AviWatermark_TimerVisible.htm.md) property is set to **true**).
