# PreLoadedFrame.IsExtended Property 
 
Gets a value specifying whether the bitmap stored in the frame has 16 bits per channel.

A [Boolean](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/a28wyd50) value specifying whether the bitmap stored in the frame has 16 bits per channel (i.e. extended pixel format).
