# Pen.Alignment Property 
 
Gets/sets pen alignment.

### Property Value
 [System.Drawing.Drawing2D.PenAlignment](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/z62ath7a) value specifying current pen alignment.
 
## Remarks
 Pen alignment is necessary when pen [Width](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Drawing_Pen_Width.htm.md) is more than 1. It means how line is positioned relatively to the pen center. Although [System.Drawing.Drawing2D.PenAlignment](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/z62ath7a) has five possible values, both GDI+ and Graphics Mill for .NET support only [Center](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/bb493582) and [Inset](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/bb495497) members. 
Default value is [Center](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/bb493582).
