# Pen.DashStyle Property 
 
Gets/sets style used for dashed lines drawn with this pen.

### Property Value
 [DashStyle](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/a3k7hz77) value representing dash style of the pen.
 
## Remarks
 Due GDI limitation you cannot use other dash style than [Solid](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/bb506298) when pen width differs from 1. 
Default value is [Solid](http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/bb506298).
