# ApplyLut.Lut Property

Gets/sets look-up table which defines this LUT transform.

**Namespace:** [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Transforms](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/N_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms.htm.md)
 **Assembly:** Aurigma.GraphicsMill (in Aurigma.GraphicsMill.dll)

## Syntax

```
Public Property Lut As Lut
```

```csharp
public Lut Lut { get; set; }
```

### Property Value
 [Lut](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Lut.htm.md) class instance which specifies look-up table for this LUT transform.

## Remarks

This class is initialized by empty LUT after the [ApplyLut](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_ApplyLut.htm.md) has been created, so you can use the syntax to specify LUT like this:

```
Dim applyLut As New Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Transforms.ApplyLut
'LUT for image posterizing
applyLut.Lut.BuildStaircase(10, False)
applyLut.ApplyTransform(bitmap)
```

```csharp
Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Transforms.ApplyLut applyLut =
    new Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Transforms.ApplyLut();
//LUT for image posterizing
applyLut.Lut.BuildStaircase(10, false);
applyLut.ApplyTransform(bitmap);
```

instead of creating and initializing separate [Lut](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Lut.htm.md) instance.
