# Crop.BackgroundColor Property 
 
Gets/sets background color which is used when cropping rectangle takes pixels which are out of the image.

## Syntax
  
```
Public Property BackgroundColor As Color
```
 
```csharp
public Color BackgroundColor { get; set; }
```
 
### Property Value
Crop background color value. If its color space does not conform pixel format of target bitmap, it is converted to bitmap color space.
 
## Remarks
 Default value is transparent white. It is instantiated as [RgbColor](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_RgbColor.htm.md) until you specify another color value.
