# PixelFormatConverter.BackgroundEnabled Property 
 
Gets/sets value that specifies if it is necessary to use [BackgroundColor](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_PixelFormatConverter_BackgroundColor.htm.md) value to flatten alpha channel when converting from pixel format with alpha to pixel format without it.

## Remarks
 Default value is **false**.
