# BitmapViewer.AutoPostBack Property 
 
Gets/sets a value indicating whether a postback to the server automatically occurs when the user zooms or scrolls the bitmap.

### Property Value
The value which is **true** when a postback to the server automatically occurs whenever the user navigates the bitmap in the [BitmapViewer](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WebControls_BitmapViewer.htm.md); **false** otherwise.
 
## Remarks
  
If you want to disable automatic postback for certain events (e.g. [Zoomed](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/E_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WebControls_BitmapViewer_Zoomed.htm.md)) and enable it for other ones (e.g. [Click](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/E_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WebControls_BitmapViewer_Click.htm.md)), you can use the [ClientSideOptions](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WebControls_BitmapViewer_ClientSideOptions.htm.md) property. It exposes a boolean property for each event.
 
If AutoPostBack is **true**, postback occurs regardless to values of properties of the [BitmapViewerClientSideOptions](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WebControls_BitmapViewerClientSideOptions.htm.md) object returned by the [ClientSideOptions](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WebControls_BitmapViewer_ClientSideOptions.htm.md) property.
 
Default value is **false**.
