# Pidl.IsRoot Property 
 
Gets a value indicating whether the [Pidl](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_Pidl.htm.md) object represents the [Desktop](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_StandardFolder.htm.md) folder (i.e. root of the file system).
